KU, CBS and DTU organize a summer school in service innovation

SERVICE is the theme of the summer school 2011. The summer school is an intensive innovation process, where you get acquainted with the latest approaches to service innovation and service design and apply them in practice.

 

Summer school is based on an innovation process where you solve a specific challenge provided by a company. You work in a multidisciplinary team where you will have to put your academic skills to the test. Along the way your team guided through the development of professional innovation consultants and specialists from KU, CBS and DTU.

In addition, a number of external experts in design, innovation and creative concept development will give presentations and guide and assist your team.

 

Service Innovation is typical concepts in the form of:

 

 A design for user application of technology (eg Google or the iPhone).

 An innovative design for the distribution of products (for example, Copenhagen's "Borgerservice").

 Design of interaction between service provider and customer (eg B & O's theatrical style shops, The Laundromat Café or Starbucks).

 

 

ECTS

The summer school is a meritorious candidate course and releases 7.5 ECTS.

 

Requirements

You must be enrolled in the graduate program at KU, CBS or DTU. To participate, send a half page motivated application and CV to project manager Marjanne Kurth, no later than 23 May when there are application deadlines.

We offer 40 students a position at summer school, and it is expected that you can be present every weekday during the 5th-26th August 2011, at. 9-17. The summer school wil be in danish.
